We work a cold front through the area today bringing with it a small chance at a shower or two. The air behind the front isn’t necessarily colder, highs still touch at least 80°, but it will be drier. Essentially that means it will be more comfortable for you at sunset compared to sunrise, and it sets the stage for a cool start to Friday in the low 50s. Dry air stays for Friday afternoon and much of Saturday with highs in the low 80s and a decent amount of sun. Sunday, another round of disturbances will move into the southeast sparking showers and isolated thunderstorms; currently, your rain chance is 40%. Saturday is easily the pick of the weekend. That's not to say Sunday will be a washout but more than just a few storms will pop Sunday afternoon; plan accordingly! We’ll stay slightly unsettled Monday through the middle of next week with a couple showers or storms each afternoon while highs bounce between 81° and 83°.
Be safe and have a great Thursday!
