TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - High pressure will build northward over the Big Bend limiting storm chances the next couple of days. This will allow for skies to be clearer for longer, and with more sunshine comes more heat. Conditions this morning start off muggy and mild with temps in the upper 60s. Mid to upper 90s return this afternoon with an isolated storm threat, and that's pretty much it. We'll hold onto a similar set up tomorrow before a cold front advances from the western Gulf shore prompting more scattered storms for the second half of Saturday. Temps will back off into the low and mid 90s. We'll barely skim 90° on Sunday as periods of wet weather are likely, especially later in the afternoon and evening. Expect a similar set up for the start of next work week with highs in the low 90s and a slow-moving cold front to spark off more showers and storms. By Tuesday and beyond, we'll begin to quiet down, but temps heat back up into the mid 90s.
