There's only a small chance at a shower or thunderstorm today as we work a weak disturbance across the area. The storm focus will be primarily east of Jefferson county this afternoon. Meanwhile, everyone will still be in the hot zone with highs in the low 90s. Tomorrow, a cold front will move through allowing for a shower or two but the rain chance is hardly worth mentioning. Instead, once the front is east of you (by midday for most), our humidity will take a noticeable drop. High temperatures will drop only slightly Friday through Memorial day; hovering around 90°. High pressure will take complete control over our weather for the entire holiday weekend, you care about that because it means no rain. Low humidity will make 89-90° feel as comfortable as it can through the middle of next week. Beach weather also looks pleasant with light winds, calm seas and temperatures on the sand in the low 80s. Our next chance at rain will come toward the middle of next week.
Be safe and have a great Thursday!
