MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- More rain will be the main story for Thursday morning into the afternoon and then clearing will occur as a frontal system pushes east of the area. High pressure will guide winds from the north, helping to not only clear the region, but cool us off as well.
Expected highs on Thursday afternoon will range in the 70s, with mid to upper 70s across the Big Bend and along the coast. Rain coverage is around 70% but it will dwindle down as the morning and afternoon progress. Lows Thursday night into Friday morning will likely dip into the lower to mid 50s as clear skies will allow most of the region to cool significantly.
Into the weekend, another front will quickly push through our area, and what lies beyond this one will likely drop our daytime highs and overnight lows into MUCH colder levels with highs next week in the 60s and lows in the low to mid 40s.
