The morning started out humid and will remain that way for the next few days. Morning temperatures were in the lower to mid 70s. The region will heat up today, with areas that experience continuous rainfall in the mid-upper 80s. For most though, the rain will be scattered and afternoon highs will be in the lower 90s. Locations that receive little to no rain could reach the mid 90s in the afternoon. There will be a 50% chance of experiencing afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The sea breeze will interact with the stalled out frontal system and will increase possibility of showers forming. A few storms could continue into the evening hours and could be capable of producing lightning. The cold front will remain positioned over the Florida-Georgia border, keeping rain chances at the 40-50% range through the weekend. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 90s for the next seven days as well.
