TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - After yesterday's severe weather, a much quieter set up is expected for the rest of this month. High pressure builds into the Gulf shore clearing our skies and bringing the chill back to the region. Temps start off in the low 40s this morning and will get to the low to mid 60s this afternoon. Winds shift from out of the northwest later overnight bringing in even chillier weather. 30s are expected through the weekend, even freezing temps are possible by Sunday morning. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 60s and then jump to the low 70s as winds come back to from the Gulf. Mid 70s are likely next week with another storm system digging into the southeast by next midweek.
