Warm and humid conditions will stay with us this Thursday, with high temps in the upper 70’s. A strong cold front will move through the Midwest and the western Panhandle tomorrow morning. Showers and storms are expected to arrive here in the morning hours. Some thunderstorms could produce strong gusty winds, heavy downpours, and lightning. The front will stall just to the south of the area on Saturday, so the chance for a few showers is still possible, along with temps around 70 degrees. A week wave will develop in the Gulf on Sunday and enhance our rain chances till Tuesday. High pressure should move in by Wednesday and drier conditions will return. Temps are expected to stay slightly above average throughout the week.
