MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Skies will start off partly cloudy this afternoon and stay similar throughout the week, with chances of rain each day. Tropical Storm Julia will stay northeast of the region, allowing for a northerly influence on the winds. This wind will limit the rain and cloud cover, keeping the area warmer than average.

Thursday high temperatures may reach at or just above 90 degrees. If you're further east, you'll likely be able to see more rain showers, though the coverage is isolated (30% east, 20% west). Thursday night lows are forecast to fall above average with temps in the low to mid 70s.

Much of the forecast period heading into the weekend stays similar, with daytime highs likely getting a bit warmer each and every day.
