TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The cool morning and mild afternoon trend continues. Temps start off right around 40° this morning with highs near 70° as high pressure dominates our weather pattern, keeping skies mainly clear and conditions quiet. Overnight, we'll be in the low 40s to start off the final day of the work week with afternoon numbers in the low to mid 70s. Expect mid 40s to ring in the weekend with mid to upper 70s for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Upper 70s stick with us through Monday with increased cloud cover. A storm system and trailing cold front advances into the region Tuesday with widespread showers and storms likely. Temps hover in the upper 60s. By Wednesday, we'll quiet and cool down with temps in the mid 60s.
