Storm Team Thursday morning forecast (08/07/2014)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another hot day is anticipated around the region as winds continue to be ushered in from the west and eventually southwest which will allow us to tap back into some Gulf moisture.  The sea breeze along with a cold front advancing into the southeast will be the triggers to transition us back into a pattern of more wet weather, which will be a welcome change considering that we are about 9" below the seasonal average officially at Tallahassee Regional Airport.  Temps still stay steamy in the upper 90s by this afternoon, with the possibility of cooling off a little bit if a scattered storm decides to be on top of you.  We'll call for about a 30% coverage with the rainfall.  Tonight, it'll be sticky again only bottoming out in the mid 70s.  Rain chances increase a little bit more tomorrow to end the work week with temps still above average in the mid 90s.  Expect a similar trend going into the weekend and early next week with afternoon and evening storms possible.
