Today started out warmer than average, just like yesterday. Tallahassee is on track for a similar day today. Expect highs around 97 in the capital city, with some regions further inland possibly reaching the hundred-degree mark. Various inland areas will feel like it is 100 this afternoon. There is a 20% chance of afternoon showers and storms, but is not expected to be widespread, or worthy of cancelling plans. Our next frontal system will pass tomorrow, bringing a 40% chance of rain, but high temperatures will remain in the mid 90s. Following Friday, the drying trend will continue. Afternoon highs will remain in the mid 90s, with a 20% chance of rain each day. Stay hydrated and put on sunscreen if you have to be outside today!
