TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Other than a few isolated showers this morning, skies will begin to clear heading into the rest of the afternoon. Conditions are muggy this morning with temps starting out in the low 60s and as a cold front passes, temps won't soar as they have the last several days. Expect comfortable, typical fall highs in the mid to upper 70s this afternoon with plenty of sunshine by then. There will be a slight breeze in the morning with winds shifting out of the north and northwest up to 15 mph but the winds should slack off in the afternoon. Halloween looks rather pleasant with temps starting off on the cool side in the mid 40s. By the afternoon we'll get into the mid 70s and expect conditions to be slightly cooler for Trick-or-Treating time in the mid 60s. By Saturday morning, temps will be cool back in the mid 40s but a howling wind out of the northeast will allow wind chills to dip into the mid to upper 30s. Winds stay elevated through Saturday bringing down a lot of cool air. Expect highs to only crack into the mid 60s for highs. Sunday morning we're even cooler as you're heading to church with actual air temps in the mid 30s, though the winds will have lessened by that point. Don't forget to fall back one hour early Sunday morning as Daylight Saving Time ends. Highs will still stay in the mid to upper 60s. Next week look seasonable, though still dry as a high pressure system builds in with lows in the low 40s and highs in the mid to upper 70s.
