High pressure has moved east and away from our region, allowing for more moisture and partly cloudy skies for today. We will still be warm today with high temps in the 80’s. Heading into the afternoon, there’s a slight chance we could see a pop up shower in the western counties. A deep trough will continue to push a strong cold front towards our region. This front will reach our area by Friday, bringing us showers in the afternoon and evening and a few thunderstorms. Cloudy skies and rain will still be with us early Saturday morning and part of the afternoon, but we should clear out and cool down just in time for the FSU vs. UM game in the evening. Sunday will be sunny and feel much cooler, with a high of 73. Next week will begin on the mild side with partly cloudy skies and a high of 75. Another warm up begins on Tuesday, with partly cloudy skies, a slight chance of rain and a high of 78. By Wednesday we could have temps reaching 80 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of showers.
