TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Expect a hot trend ahead! Temps start off in the low to mid 70s this morning before soaring into the upper 90s with feels-like temps ranging anywhere from 100-105°. Stay hydrated and seek out the A/C today to beat the heat. High pressure will build over the Gulf limiting afternoon storm chances to only a few isolated spots. If you're lucky enough to get rain, temps will drop in the mid-afternoon. Everyone else will experience sweltering heat heading towards the evening drive. Overnight, we'll dip to the mid 70s and approach 100° Friday afternoon. 100° heat is likely on Saturday with upper 90s even to end the weekend on Sunday. Feels-like temps with the humidity will near 105° or hotter through the end of the weekend. Mid 90s next work week with an increased scattered, summery storm threat in the afternoon and evening as the heat dome weakens.
