MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Happy Thanksgiving! And isn't it perfect how all the dreary rain passed through so we don't have to worry about a gloomy day? It will be cold however, a dry cold front passing through the region will reinforce a steady wind out of the northwest which wont allow our highs to move past 60 degrees across much of the region. Lows tonight will slightly above freezing so make sure you bring layers, especially if you are planning  to be an early bird for any Black Friday shopping. Friday afternoon's highs will be similar to today's with that consistent north wind. The weekend will see a steady warm-up with temperatures in the mid 60s and sunny for Saturday, which is great news for anyone planning to visit Doak Campbell Stadium for the annual game against the Gators. Lows will be in the mid 40s Saturday night into Sunday morning. The next work week will be warmer with lows near 50 and highs in the mid 70s.
