Storm Team Thursday morning forecast (03/07/2013)

Posted

Thursday starts in the thirties, but the sun will come out and temperatures will rise. After a cool start to the day highs climb into the mid 60s. High pressure spreading across the area will keep the sky mostly clear with some thin clouds rolling through. Morning gusts near 10 mph will continue to calm down leaving us with much more pleasant conditions. Short term forecasts show temperatures building themselves up through the weekend reaching the mid 70s by Sunday afternoon. Rivers in the Eastern Big Bend, including the Suwannee River near Ellaville, will reach their peak water level over the weekend and will begin to drop soon after. Rain chances get introduced at the beginning of the work week. A line of showers and thunderstorms will move through Monday night and Tuesday with a quick moving cold front. It’s gone by Wednesday and we resume a pleasant weather set up with sun and highs near 70°.
