TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We're still expecting more scattered storms around the region today. It'll be a muggy start with temps in the mid 70s and a few coastal showers are likely. By the mid-afternoon, expect more storms to boil up in a very summer-like atmosphere still with temps rebounding into the mid 90s once again. Lows tonight into Friday morning will be much of the same to what we're experiencing this morning bottoming out in the low to mid 70s. This pattern remains quite consistent heading into the weekend and even next week with a tropical air mass sticking around. On shore flow from the Gulf of Mexico coupled with an upper level low pressure system near the east coast of Florida will allow for the elevated rain chances and hot conditions with temps expected to be above average for the next 7 days.
