MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Cloud cover today has been mainly patchy and thin, still allowing some sunshine to break through and permit warming to around average temperatures. Overnight, a few areas of clear sky will be seen as scattered mid- and upper-level clouds traverse the sky above. Lows will fall to the lower 40s in most areas. As the upper wind flow remains active and moisture levels increase Friday, cloudiness will thicken and limit the rise in temperatures. We may still experience afternoon readings peaking in the mid 60s. By sunset, a few stray showers may approach the tri-state region. The weekend will be generally cloudy with a slightly higher chance for showers, but the highest rain potential has shifted to the Monday/Tuesday time frame as a series of disturbances enter the region, keeping unsettledness in the local picture until Christmas Eve.
