MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Areas of clouds and rain will be present this evening through tonight as Gulf moisture and a cold front collide over the region.  Periods of heavier downpours and a few thunderstorms are possible, but instances of intense or severe storms should remain very limited.  Occasional wind gusts are possible in some storms, then winds will generally increase from the northwest through Friday as strong high pressure shoves the disturbance aside.  Temperatures will turn toward a colder trend leading into the weekend.  However, overnight lows will be in the 60s because of existing clouds and rain activity.  CLearing should begin by Friday afternoon as high top out around 70°.  The weekend will be filled with sunshine and only a few clouds from time to time; mornings will be chilly and daytime highs will fall short of average.
