MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered clouds will mix with the late-day sun, but, unless the dominant northerly winds clash with a limited seabreeze near the coast, showers and thunderstorms will be few and far between. Areas of clearer sky are forecast for the overnight time frame with warmer-than-average lows in the mid and low 70s area-wide. The wind flow will still be influenced by the low-pressure circulation near South Carolina, meaning a drier trend with ongoing warmth and limited rain production Friday. Highs will range from near 90° to the low 90s, with isolated cases of highs near 95°. The heat won't take a break through the weekend, but remaining moisture may clash with a modest front scraping into the Southeast, which may help to produce a few more areas of showers or thunder.
