MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The quiet, tranquil weather pattern as of late is not expected to change drastically in the next couple of days. The only difference to be experienced is the approach and passage of a dry cold front that will simply sustain the settled weather trends. Overnight will feature another cool-down with lows falling into the lower 40s in outlying open areas, to upper 40s in downtown areas, and lower 50s at the immediate coast. Gobs of sunshine Friday will get temps back into the mid and upper 70s for highs. The weekend will also be dry, with a slight warming trend in the afternoons with highs into the 80s. Moisture will creep back early next week, kicking nighttime lows up into the 50s, with scattered clouds and minor rain chances by midweek. The former tropical depression degraded into a leftover disturbance in the western Caribbean but will still be tracked for any future development.
