MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Showers will impact the area, especially eastern counties, this evening, with leftover cloudiness expected for most of the nighttime period. The warm trend will break once the initial line of showers passes through; temperatures will fall about 10 to 15 degrees, then further decline into the mid 40s to around 50° overnight. Clouds will be slow to break, but a gradual clearing trend should occur in some areas by Friday afternoon. Temperatures will remain suppressed in areas of limited sun, plus northerly winds will force the cooler air mass into the region, so highs will be primarily in the 50s to lower 60s. Chilly conditions Saturday morning will give way to ample sun and milder readings in the daytime. However, the current front will likely play a role in returning some cloudiness and shower activity to the region toward the beginning of next week.
