MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A veil of high- and mid-level clouds will prevent a fully clear sky tonight, but the effects of an earlier cold front are just beginning to be experienced. A noticeable breeze will continue overnight, pulling in air from far northern areas and causing local temperatures to keep falling through Friday morning. Lows will be in the mid to upper 30s in south Georgia, and lower 40s south of the state line, with minor wind chill values possibly reaching the upper 20s. Despite more sunshine, readings will struggle to rise, capped in the 50s for highs in the afternoon. A light freeze is possible Saturday morning before temps rebound through the rest of the weekend. Moisture returns, along with excess cloudiness, early next week, with slight chances for showers by Monday.
