MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The region remains rather dry with the influence of northerly winds. A few more clouds have gathered in the eastern sections, where an isolated shower is possible through this evening. Lows will drop into the low and mid 70s once again tonight with areas of clear sky. Rain and thunderstorm chances remain limited for many areas, except the I-75 corridor and points north and east, as the persistent upper disturbance over the Carolinas propels more moisture southward as the system itself drifts to the southwest. Rain coverage will be highest in eastern counties, but only peaking around 30%, with above-average highs Friday in the low and mid 90s. More slightly unsettled conditions are forecast for early next week as local moisture increases and a cold front slows down over the Mississippi Valley and the Deep South.
