MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Clouds and breezes will be around overnight with minimal rain chances. Lows will fall into the low 70s. Hurricane Matthew's strongest impacts will avoid the region, but side effects will be experienced in the forms of extra cloudiness, occasional rain for the Suwannee River region and the I-75 corridor, and breezes that should remain below tropical-storm-force for most western zones, including metro Tallahassee. Some brief gusts near 40 mph may occur around and especially east of Interstate 75 Friday. Highs will be mainly in the low to mid 80s. Matthew makes its closest approach to the region later Friday, then departs to the northeast through Saturday. Drier air will return Sunday with near-average temperatures.
