MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The first in a series of swift-moving, relatively modest upper-level disturbances will approach this evening, casting clouds around the area tonight and producing periods of mainly light to moderate rain through the sleeping hours. Lingering showers are possible through sunrise, but for most of the daylight hours Friday, rain coverage will diminish and some partial clearing is possible. The impact on temperatures will be mild, with influences of moisture from the Gulf. Lows will fall to the mid 50s as the rain nears, then once it departs, a gradual rebound toward the lower 70s is forecast. The next disturbance will move through on Saturday, with renewed shower and rain chances. A broader trough from the north will provide clearing, drying, and noticeable cooling for early next week. The dry air may stick around until the next system toward the end of next week. Until then, chilly air will be in place for most of next week.
