MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Areas of excess cloudiness will remain around the region through tonight, but remaining shower and rain action will be spotty and mostly light. No severe weather chances exist tonight. Temperatures will respond to winds shifting from the northwest overnight, as lows drop into the 50s. Patchy cloud cover may linger in eastern counties (near I-75), but more pronounced clearing will be evident near the tri-state junction early Friday. Clouds will break further as the day progresses, but the additional sun will struggle to boost readings. Highs will peak in the lower 60s in most areas. The weekend will feature sunny days and cold, mainly clear nights, with the chance for frost or even a light freeze. Warmer conditions are expected in the days leading into Christmas, with vast moisture setting up a possibly rainy, unsettled period of time.
