MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered evening thunderstorms may contain heavy rain and brief, strong wind gusts that can reach severe levels. Most action will wind down by midnight, with some clearing and lows in the mid 70s. Another batch of scattered storms is expected Friday afternoon with highs reaching the range of 92° to 98°. The potential for isolated stronger storms exists Friday as well, with about 40% of the area receiving rain at any point in the day. As has been the case lately, very subtle changes in wind direction and moisture availability can alter the afternoon rain and storm development pattern drastically. However, parts of early next week may have a drop in rain activity if a drier slot of air arrives.
