We will begin to see an increase in cloud coverage as we head into the overnight hours. A cold front approaching from the west will bring some light and scattered showers to the western panhandle and portions of Alabama. Rain chances will increase for Friday as we have mostly cloudy skies and a high of 84. The front will stall out right to the east of us on Friday night bringing the chance for more showers to the area here on Saturday and Sunday. We will also see a dip in our temperatures over the weekend. Highs will only top out in the low 80’s. A chance for rain stays with us as we head into our next work week as well. A more defined and stronger cold front will move through the region next Tuesday night or Wednesday and take an even bigger toll on our temperatures. Heavier rain showers will be here next Tuesday with cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70’s. Our mornings will be much cooler next week, with some starting in the mid 50’s.
