MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The latest area of high pressure is sliding into the Southeastern U.S. providing a new dry air source and a seasonable, cool feel to the air locally. Light northerly winds may add a touch of chill overnight as lows fall to around 40°. Morning sunshine will blend in with a few thin clouds by afternoon as readings rebound to near 70°. The weekend will feature building cloudiness and less sunshine before our next rain chance arrives in the central Gulf region Monday, scooting east by Tuesday. Temperatures will warm before the disturbance's arrival, then a series of northern systems will drag in colder air toward the last half of next week.
