MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The atmosphere remains rather unsettled, but areas of clouds and the distance of a disturbance to the west have still placed slight limits on the amount of showers and rain across the area. Evening showers and thunder will remain scattered and passing from point to point; not everyone will receive rain, but those that do can get a brief downpour or an isolated stronger storm along and around the I-75 corridor. Overnight, some lingering cloudiness will be present with lows in the upper 60s to near 70°. Little change is foreseen in Friday’s pattern; scattered showers and storms with a partly sunny sky by midday and highs in the upper 80s to around 90°. We’ll keep occasional periods of rain each afternoon through the weekend with perhaps a decrease in daily shower activity early next week with slightly drier air.
