MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Another round of scattered late-afternoon clouds will dissipate after nightfall, without many showers or storms to form in the meantime.  High pressure and drier air aloft continue to keep the seabreeze from creating pockets of rain or storms, and helping to elevate daytime temperatures.  Lows tonight will fall to around 70°, as southwest winds have brought in additional moisture, leading to slightly milder overnight conditions.  Cloud cover will be limited through mid-morning, then mostly sunny to partly cloudy trends will be in place for the afternoon.  A portion of a upper ridge out west will influence more heating locally Friday, with highs around 90° at the coast to some upper 90s interior.  Rain coverage will still be suppressed, with not much more than a stray shower or storm forming late.  Saturday will also be hot and mainly dry, then some unsettled weather may enter parts of the Southeast early next week, raising the potential for more areas of rain at times.
