MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The heat continues, with the only interruptions being triggered by patchy showers and thunder in the far southeastern Big Bend. Only limited quantities of these late-day showers are expected, so for the rest of us, it'll remain mostly clear with patchy clouds and lingering warmth through the late-night. Lows will dip to around 70°, then temps quickly rebound back into the mid 90s in many inland locations Friday. The sky will continue to feature ample sun and scattered clouds, with isolated cases of afternoon and early evening showers or storms. It will still be somewhat challenging to get widespread rain action over the weekend, but the coverage of such activity will be widely scattered and varied from day to day for the next several to come.
