MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A low-pressure disturbance is crossing through the Mississippi and Tennessee valleys today and tonight, and it will produce periods of overcast sky locally with accompanying shower and thunderstorm activity.  For western locations, generally along and west of U.S. 319 late tonight through early Friday morning, a few storms can cause gusty winds and isolated cases of severe weather.  Most thunderstorms will weaken as they move east through the morning.  Clouds will break by afternoon with an increase in sunshine.  Lows will drop to the 60s, and highs will rebound to the 80s.  The weekend will feature sunshine and very warm afternoons in the mid to upper 80s, while morning lows will fall into the low to mid 50s.  Another round of storms is forecast for Monday.
