MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Developing showers and storms in the Suwannee River area may grow into stronger thunderstorms that can contain heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds.  Isolated severe storms are possible through mid-evening as any action moves generally to the west or northwest.  Leftover clouds and weakening showers will persist through early Friday as lows will fall only into the mid to upper 60s.  Limited sunshine is forecast for Friday with a few more showers developing.  A return of low-end severe weather chances is not likely.  Highs will be mostly in the 70s to around 80°.  We'll stay in a generally warm, humid pattern through the weekend with scattered showers possible.  A modest cold front is still expected early next week, causing temperatures to fall just a bit with additional sunshine.
