MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Patchy showers and thunderstorms will roll in from the Atlantic seabreeze boundary, producing locally heavy rain and isolated cases of very gusty winds and occasional rougher conditions. Evening coverage will remain scattered and moving westward, with some rain possibly reaching western counties after sunset before dissipating. Overnight, clouds will break with lows reaching the low to mid 70s area-wise. Higher pressure remains nearby Friday, which can limit the number of showers and storms again, but a few more a likely to form from the daytime heating and seabreeze flows. Highs will range from near 90° for the beaches to the mid 90s in the interior. A weakening cold front across middle Georgia this weekend will help form more clouds and rain potential, more than just with the seabreeze. The additional tropical moisture will also enhance rain development at times.
