MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The cold front has passed over our region and the influence of colder air from the Arctic Circle will move down over us tonight into tomorrow morning. Combine the winds to make it feel even colder and you have a blustery, uncomfortable night in store. Lows across the Big Bend and South Georgia will be in the mid to upper 20s with colder conditions north of the Florida/Georgia border. Highs are forecast to be in the lower to mid 50s, at least 10 degrees below the average for this time of year. The sweaters will likely be necessary all day Friday. For Friday night, another subfreezing period is expected with lows below 30 degrees. The extended period shows quite an extensive period of chilly conditions as another Arctic air mass makes its way down south by midweek next week.
