The current positioning of high pressure favors a clear sky for tonight with extra cooling. Lows will fall into the 30s for most areas away from the coast. Patchy frost is possible, while only isolated cases of a brief light freeze are expected. Winds will remain light through tomorrow, but transition to the southwest. Some upper-level clouds may blend in with the sun by afternoon. Highs will reach the 70s. A disturbance moving through the northern Gulf region will generate more clouds and showers at times Saturday, then with an increase in sunshine early next week, temperatures will rebound and hit 80° Monday and/or Tuesday.
