MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
High pressure has brought an unseasonably cool and dry pattern into the region. The “cool” and “dry” part will only last for another 12 to 24 hours. Tonight’s lows will drop into the mid to upper 50s, nearly 10 degrees below average in most cases, with less wind and calm air at times. The strong, nearly full sunlight will quickly warm the dry air mass, heating us up back into the mid and upper 80s. Southwest winds will be in place for most of the upcoming weekend, bringing back a feel of mugginess. The latest upper-level high will influence higher high temps Saturday and Sunday as lows rebound to around 70° Memorial Day will feature scattered clouds and isolated afternoon showers, with a greater scattering of thunderstorms possible Tuesday through next Thursday.
