MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

With afternoon temps reaching the low to mid 90s, despite a veil of thin clouds, a few spots of rain and storms have been forming along various boundaries, including the coastal seabreeze.  Heavy downpours are possible in these storms, which are widely scattered and localized.  Later, a general clearing trend is forecast, with some upper-level cloudiness lingering.  Lows will be near average in the low to mid 70s.  The continued presence of a northwest wind, albeit light, will promote extra warming through the late morning and afternoon hours, causing highs to reach the mid 90s.  Isolated storms will once again develop with heating and the coastal onshore flow.  An upper disturbance off the mid-Atlantic will float southwestward toward the region Saturday, enhancing shower and storm development and coverage.  A slight drop-off in rain potential is forecast for the remainder of the Labor Day weekend, though rain chances do not reach zero.
