Isolated showers and storms are popping up during the peak afternoon heating hours. As scattered as they are, isolated cases of gusty storm-related winds are possible before the activity winds down by late tonight. Brief downpours are also possible. Lows tonight will reach the low to mid 70s with some clearing. Scattered showers and storms will resume after a few hours of sunshine by Friday afternoon. It will be very warm again, with highs in the low and mid 90s, before patchy storminess occurs. Over the weekend, more hit-or-miss variety showers and storms will form in the afternoon time frame.
