MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A minor cold front will thicken the cloudiness late today through late tonight, and a few spotty showers will march along and ahead of the front.  Accumulations will be light, and thunderstorm chances are next to zero.  The cold front will bring the next dose of cooler northern air into the area, and it will be felt in the morning with lows in the 40s with decreasing cloudiness and a light breeze.  We'll return to ample sunshine during the daylight hours, but afternoon temps won't be as mild as they were today.  Most highs will be capped in the mid to upper 60s Friday.  Weekend cloud cover will be triggered by a disturbance in the western Gulf of Mexico that will cross to the east, focusing most of its moisture into the peninsula of Florida, but scraping some local coastal and southeastern Big Bend counties with additional clouds and higher shower chances, especially early Sunday.  A clearing and cooling trend returns for Monday and stretches into Veterans Day Tuesday.
