MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are on the scene again this afternoon, following a similar pattern and path to previous days. Moisture and modest heating are driving the formation of the showers and storms, and winds are moving them mainly to the northeast. We have minimal concern for hyperactive storminess through mid-evening, but brief periods of heavy rain can't be ruled out. Overnight, scattered clouds and breaks of clear sky will be present, along with high moisture levels and lows only in the middle 70s. Friday, a cold front in the Deep South may present a higher amount of rain coverage along and west of the Flint River, while mainly scattered activity is possible elsewhere. Highs tomorrow will be near average near 90° to the lower 90s. By the weekend, high pressure builds in to create lower rain chances. Highs will rise back toward hotter levels in the mid and upper 90s.
