Scattered cloudiness will be present overnight with temperatures slightly above average, in the mid 40s north to lower 50s south. Breaks of sun are likely by Friday afternoon with highs reaching near 70° in some areas. Warm and more moist air from the south and east will infiltrate into the region over the holiday weekend, creating a string of days with above-average heat (highs well into the 70s and near 80° at times) and morning lows in the 50s to around 60° with occasional fog development early next week.
