MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Areas of rain and thunderstorms will scoot through most south Georgia locations, shifting toward the east and southeast and perhaps spreading some periods of rain and thunder into north Florida later this evening. A frontal system will sage south from northeast Georgia, and an associated low-pressure disturbance can increase rain coverage in general for the region Friday. Rain coverage may reach its highest levels near the coastal counties, and showers and storms may occur almost any time of the day, though mostly still focused on the afternoon. Lows tonight will be in the mid 70s, and highs tomorrow may stay in the lower 90s unless longer breaks of sun come out. A slight bit of drying is possible later in the weekend, and rain chances will decrease as a result, especially in inland locations to start the new week.
