MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Areas of clouds and scattered showers and storms will be present this evening and later tonight, especially for western counties near the Apalachicola and Chattahoochee rivers. Late-night storms are also possible for coastal zones, as abundant moisture streams in along with a swift upper flow ahead of a stalling cold front north of the region. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s with periods of clouds and some rain for marine and nearby areas by sunrise. The distribution of rain will come and go in waves, with locally heavy rain possible along with an isolated stronger storm. Extra clouds will limit highs to the 80s in most areas, with an isolated 90° reading possible near I-75. A second cold front will nudge the unsettled weather through the area Saturday with more rain, then a noticeably drier and cooler trend will set up by Sunday.
