MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A big warm-up occurred today with the support of a southwest and west wind flow. We also added more moisture from that flow, which will turn into areas of developing cloudiness early Friday morning as a nearby cold front approaches. There isn't enough moisture or unsettledness to create a widespread rain chance, but a few sprinkles are possible around sunrise, especially near and north of the state line. Forecast lows are much higher than past nights thanks to the clouds and moisture; we'll only reach the lower 50s and upper 40s. The cold front sweeps through later in the day, and any cloud cover should begin to break in the afternoon. It'll be warmer than average again, in the 70s, before the arrival of the latest cold air mass to lower temperatures for the weekend. Longer periods of sunshine are expected Saturday and Sunday. Better rain chances develop by Monday and Tuesday.
