MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Isolated showers in western sections of the Big Bend and interior southwest Georgia will diminish, leaving fewer clouds and areas of clear sky for the region overnight.  It will remain mild with lows in the mid 60s.  A few spots of fog are possible.  Friday, we'll start with ample sunshine, then clouds will gradually increase through late-afternoon.  Showers and storms will not be widespread, but a cold front approaching from the northwest will allow the development of a few stormy areas within the Deep South.  Highs will manage to climb into the mid and upper 80s before the clouds thicken late.  A few storms in the interior of south Georgia could be strong late in the day and through the evening.  Afterwards, cloud cover and areas of showers and thunder will be somewhat widespread through the weekend as the cold front lingers.
