MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The next couple of days will feature limited sun, and perhaps surprisingly, limited rain action. Upper-level winds are carrying moisture and clouds into the region, and forcing widespread rain to develop west of the region, where it mainly stays for Friday. A few stray showers are possible for westernmost sections Friday, but will be light if they occur at all. Temperatures will be modified because of the existence of cloudiness, with lows tonight hovering around 50° and highs tomorrow climbing toward the 70° mark as winds eventually shift to more of a southeast direction late. A batch of warmth and moisture will surge in from the Gulf Saturday into Sunday, and a cold front will enter the region early next week, triggering an uptick in local rain and thunderstorm chances by Sunday. Hints of colder air are detected for portions of next week.
