MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Warm temperatures and ample moisture have triggered scattered clouds and a low chance for a couple of late-day showers, but anything that happens to form should remain rather weak and temporary.  Overnight, a few clouds may linger with mild lows around 70°.  Southerly winds take over early Friday through most of the day, ahead of an approaching cold front that will create higher coverage of showers, rain, and some thunderstorms by the afternoon.  Rainy areas will move in from the west and progress to the east through the evening hours, then the cold front will pass early Saturday, creating a breezy, cool trend with a clearing sky.  However, Friday will be above average with highs in the mid to upper 80s before the arrival of rain.  Lows will reach their lowest levels in nearly five months, with inland sections dropping into the 40s by Sunday morning.  Highs over the weekend will be confined to the 70s with abundant sun.
